All Raffie has ever wanted in life is a small, healthy garden. When he was with the Burrows in their first home, all the plants died in the heat and the ashy air. Just when he thought he caught a lucky break after the move to the Labyrinth, the May incident struck and he was sent out to hunt for supplies near constantly. Then the Burrows broke up, and now he's almost a permanent fixture in the Coliseum venues, and even though he now has a plot of ground for himself, he's almost never there to enjoy it.

Raffie is sweet, simple-minded, and prefers to talk over fighting. Unfortunately, he's immensely powerful, and his fighting prowess is regularly serviced out, even more so than his team-mates. He is not very happy about this, but he doesn't want to bother anyone, so he doesn't complain. He also tends to get easily overwhelmed with emotions when someone is kind towards him for no special reason, even if they just say 'hi' as they're visiting the area. He's a little odd.
