When Siana first came across Kratos, she found him to be a curiosity. She had heard of the Dark Stalkers. In particular, she was aware of the fate of one who had the misfortune of coming across a founder. But that had been a Gaoler. This one here before her, was an Imperial. She couldn't help but wonder how the curses might interact. She kept her distance, observing with the use of corvids as her spies. She could tell he was able to sense her to a degree, should she come close enough. That Voidsoul within Kratos made him all the more attuned to things tainted by the Shade. Once Siana felt she had enough information on him, she made first contact. Just within his dreams, of course. No sense in risking harm if she could help it. Here, she should be able to mask her true nature from him. And she was, for the most part. Kratos was able to pick up that something was off with his dream; that she was the one in control of it. But he couldn't quite pick out the "why". Still, it was enough to make him wary of her at the start. Her song was enough to lower his guard, or at least to get him to relax a bit more around her. But eventually, she didn't need to do even that. The Dark Stalker, despite instinct and knowledge, allowed himself to indulge in her presence. He eventually was able to figure out what she was, but he did nothing to try and ward her off. He had felt a sort of kinship. Both born into the world with a curse they had never asked for. More time was spent with him within his dreams. It was hard to say if she was beginning to manifest true feelings for the warrior, or if it was just a part of the facade. She certainly would never admit the former, if it were to be true. To anyone who asked, she was merely toying with Kratos's heart. A ruse to allow herself close enough until delivering that inevitable bite.
