Biography
Crillia
ICE REP | TACTICAL STRATEGIST { "Call me weak again. I dare you." } The Icefield was no place for a Fae. The Icy Winds Pummelling her wings only made things worse, as Crillia attempted to navigate through the storm. She had been headed North, hoping to rest near the ashfall wastes, but Crillia was caught in a brutal blizzard, like the Icewarden himself was furious of her leave. She never enjoyed the Cold, the temperature making her crest numb and stiff, her small limbs weak. and she hated being weak. When she finally made it to the waters, she was barely able to rest near the Magmablood Rebuke, before she was swarmed by Flame flight dragons. "What's a dirty cold-blood like you doing here?" a Coatl mocked, vibrant feathers flared while the other dragons laughed. Crillia felt her crest lower in agitation, but her voice remained as calm as ever. "i was hoping to rest-" "we dont accept weak little snowflakes like you." the coatl sneered, cutting her off. rage simmered just below the surface, but Crillia kept herself calm. she refused to let some cocky fire dragon get under her skin. with a half-growl, Crillia took off again, deftly avoiding the claws of the dragons who had been taunting her. "get back here, Cold-blood," the Dragons snarled, attempting to follow, but Crillia was much too agile and fast for them to keep up. Her wings were sore, she was hungry and tired, but she refused to relent. she refused to be weak. she was passing over the scarred wasteland, when she felt a sharp pain in her left wing. she barely had the time to react before she was crashed into the ground, what looked like a makeshift spear wedged into her wing. "I caught one!" a voice called, and her crest flared in worry as a youth mirror bounded up to her, roughly grabbing her tail and dragging her. "..let me go..!" she snarled, attempting to writhe from the mirrors grip, but her wounded wing and exhaustion made her unable to escape. "great job," another mirror called, leering over her as she pitifully struggled. "lets make this kill quick, yeah?" Crillia braced for death as the older mirror raised up their claws, tightly shutting her eyes... but the pain never came. hesitantly, she opened her eyes again, blinking to look at another mirror, who had driven away the other two. The new mirror turned to her once her attackers were no longer visible, concern etched in their hooded features. "Are you alright?" they asked, moving forward to examine her wounds. Crillia instinctively backed up, but the mirror didn't falter, carefully lifting her wing. "...they got you good, huh." they muttered, a frustrated growl leaving their throat. "...i know someone who can help you, if your willing to follow me," the Mirror offered, and Crillia lowered her Crest suspiciously. "why should i trust you?" Crillia asked, and the mirror blinked. "if i wanted to harm you, i would have done so while you were still injured. and, I've been attacked by plague dragons before, so i sympathise with you." the mirror looked to where her attackers had fled, sighing. "My name is Elgadi, I'm currently in a clan in the tangled wood. We have a skilled healer there, if you wish to come with me." Crillia considered, staring at Elgadi and looking for any signs of deceit. finding none, she let out a gruff sigh. "...alright, but this doesn't mean i trust you." she said begrudgingly, and the mirror nodded with a small smile. |
