"Tropi, for the love of the Stormcatcher, what are you doing?"

"Im collecting!" she exclaimed proudly, holding up the small sparrow skull to show to her mother. Droplet let out a small chirp of surprise, taking a step back. "put that down! do you know how dirty that is?"

Tropi's proud smile dropped, and she looked at the ground guiltily. "...but momm, its cool!" she retorted quietly, nudging the skull around in the sand idly.

Her father approached, a look of disapproval on his face. "Are you messing with bones again?" he asked gruffly, and Tropi whined. "i just wanna collect them!" she said, feathers puffing defensively as Borealis sighed.

"you dont plan on serving a domain?" Hoarfrost asked, tilting her head. Tropi chuckled, lightly shaking her head. "no, ive never been one for combat anyways. id rather stick to my collection."

Hoarfrost gave a fond smile, wing brushing against Tropi's side. "Then where do you plan to head? im afraid i wont be travelling with you, i plan to stay within the Plaguebringer's territory." Tropi gave a hum of thought, glancing around the scarred wasteland her sister wished to call home.

"...i would stay as well, there are plenty of bones to collect, but.." she paused, looking towards the Foxfire Bramble hat was faintly visible on the horizon. "I think i'll go into shadow territory. theres still plenty of bones, without the chances of getting sick." she decided, looking back at her sister.

HoarFrost nodded, seeming pleased. "at least you arent settling somewhere like the icefield, then we cant visit eachother as easily." she teased lightly, earning a small laugh from the both of them.

Waving goodbye to the only sibling she still had contact with, Tropi started her travel across the Scarred wasteland, filled with anticipation and a twinge of uncertainty.

Surely a clan would accept her, even with her hobbies.
