NAME leaves behind him two sets of footprints. There’s nothing else abnormal about him, no whispers in the night, no shadowy shapes in mirrors. Truthfully, his whole situation is quite tame compared to the rest of his family. But it is obvious, even from a brief outsider’s glance, and it invites speculation. Whose footprints are those? Why are they bound to his? Is this a good omen, or a bad sign? He has no answers for anyone, but he isn’t the type to go looking for them either, if he’s really being honest.
