The Lorekeeper

Garrick's name means "oak tree grove". He was born in an ancient lair in the roots of The Behemoth, right in the center of the Viridian Labyrinth. His parents were Ash the Nature Skydancer and TreeLeaf the Shadow Pearlcatcher. Garrick hatched from his earthen, pod-like egg with the magic of the forest running through his veins, wild and primal. He is deeply connected to the life energies that flow through all things, almost to the extent of the Auraboa Ancients. Like the other members of the Greenwood, he appears to be Nature-oriented, but instead of claiming allegiance solely to the Gladekeeper herself, he speaks of a Higher Power, one that encompasses all things: all of the dragon deities, all of that which is seen, and all of that which is unseen. He is hard to find, as he does not often come within close contact with other dragons. If spoken to he is prone to answering in riddles and metaphors, using the wisdom of the forest as an allegory for life itself. Out of all of the denizens of the Greenwood, Garrick appears to be the closest thing to a priest or spiritual leader, though he also identifies as the Lorekeeper, and keeps records of those who count themselves as members of that forest.

The members of the Greenwood, a mysterious group of dragons (and some dragon-shaped entities), seem to have appeared out of the blue. They have settled on the Starwood Strand, and they aren't exactly a clan per se... more of a small collection of like-minded individuals who seem to dance to a different tune that only they can hear. They appear to be Nature-oriented, though they come from all over Sornieth, and they do not claim allegiance to any one of the dragon gods or goddesses. Instead, they seem to recognize all of the deities as parts of a whole, though what this 'whole' is remains an ineffable mystery. |

These are the members of the Old Forest. They have been around since time immemorial, though the myths and lore surrounding them have largely been lost, forgotten, or misconstrued over time.
