"This is HALLOWEEN!"
As a fellow Guardian she spends a lot of time with her friend, Esrare. Esrare seems to be very protective of her, though she didn't yet understand why. After hearing that Arco the Coatl is from her previous clan, Shade has been bugging him to know more. She insists on calling him 'Uncle Arco' much to his annoyance. He is growing fond of her, though, despite his original misgivings. Esrare doesn't let anything bad happen to her.
After visiting many clans and been seen by many people the overall consensus is, "Aaaaggghhh! A monster's coming! Run!!!" After originally finding this mildly insulting the great Guardian dragon realised something. That was fun! Even after returning from her trip Shade has delighted in being the creepiest dragon on the planet. The adults don't know what to think but the hatchlings LOVE it!
She has found her Charge.
Those in charge have had enough of Shade's tricks and terrors and have told her straight that if she ever frightens anyone again - even by accident - they will kick her out of the clan forever. The result of this is Shade trying desperately to avoid contact with any other dragons, hiding herself away in such an obscure little cavern that even Esrare cannot find her.
