Zardonic
Warlock
quote Zar | Young adult | He/Him | Straight | Mate Story written by PrincessNight She laughed, her voice like a silver bell in the darkness of halloween night. Oh, how she was pretty. So, so so pretty. Her scales shimmered a crystal blue and the clothing she wore brought out the pale green of her eyes. She was a witch, not simply another girl in a costume, he knew. And he knew this from the start. All night he followed her from the shadows, trying to work up the nerve to talk to her. But how? How could he ever do something like that; he, the shy, introverted, awkward, silly nocturne? And how could someone so brilliant as she ever take interest in him? It was just about pointless, but he figured it was worth a shot. When the children she had been touring around that Halloween ran up to the Palace, he took a deep breath and made his move. He leaped in front of her, which kind of scared her. Probably not the best idea. “W-Where did you come from?” The confused yet gorgeous female stuttered. “I came from the shadows,” He responded stupidly. The other dragon seemed to be holding back a laugh, and this caught at his chest that she was paying attention to him. “The shadows, huh? What do you need?” She still looked amused, but as if she was talking to a hatchling. Zardonic cocked his head to the side and blinked once or twice.“Hm? What do you mean?” He said quietly, trying to step carefully in this to-be life changing conversation. “Why are you talking to me? Do you want some candy, are you lost? etc. What’s up?” The blue dragon waved her talons as she spoke, and he was struck dumb by how adorable it was. Her tail flopped to the side and he wanted to tackle her in a hug. “Ohh... “ His eyes flitted downwards shyly. Was he really about to do this? Oh god, he hoped her cringe wouldn’t be too bad. Also, that she would kindly reject him instead of rudely. “Uhm… I don’t need any candy, but I’m sure lost in your eyes…” He said quietly. He resisted the urge to turn tail and flee at that moment. She blushed pretty badly and his heart seemed to grow wings and flutter. “Y-You are? Wow… What’s your name? I’m Sapphire…” She sounded so sweet and happy. Oh god, oh god… Adorable. “I’m Zardonic.” He reached down to kiss her talons, then smiled up at her. He hoped he looked okay, and that he didn’t have a silly grin plastered on his face. He would remember this moment forever. “So you’re Sapphire?” His smile turned a bit mischievous. “I think I’ll call you beautiful, if you don’t mind.” Gave Crystal and Facet at 16-1-2015 Gave Spines 19-1-2015 By grxndmaster!
