Oh, how the children loved her, with her sparkling blue clothes and flowers and staff. They thought it was a pretty cool getup; while she was wearing her normal clothes. She was “such a cute witch,” the elders said affectionately as she paraded around the little ones in a tour. They trailed behind her, chattering continuously and in utmost excitement. “And here we have the Halloween Palace!” She gestured ahead while bending down to speak to them. In wonder they turned to look, stars lit up in their eyes. The Halloween Palace was like a glorified mansion. It was alabaster and laced with gold; the windows were draped in dark silk and pumpkins lined the gravel road up to the front doors. Squealing, the hatchlings bounded up towards the Palace as the doors opened to reveal a large mother dragon handing out sweets. Sighing happily, Sapphire sat down on her haunches, folded her wings, and waited for them to return. It was going to be a while. Suddenly she gasped and practically fell over backwards as a dark purple dragon jumped in front of her, his red eyes shining. “W-Where did you come from?” “I came from the shadows,” He responded. Sapphire almost snorted. “The shadows, huh? What do you need?” He cocked his head, blinking. “Hm? What do you mean?” He said quietly. “Why are you talking to me? Do you want some candy, are you lost? etc. What’s up?” She said all of this while motioning with her claws, and her tail flopped back and forth. It seemed to be a habit. “Ohh... “ His eyes flitted downwards shyly. “Uhm… I don’t need any candy, but I’m sure lost in your eyes…” He said quietly. Sapphire, being the bubbly exciting dragon she was, didn’t see how awkward his words were. She blushed rather horribly. “Y-You are? Wow… What’s your name? I’m Sapphire…” “I’m Zardonic.” He reached down to kiss her talons, then smiled up at her handsomely. “So you’re Sapphire?” His smile turned a bit mischievous. “I think I’ll call you beautiful, if you don’t mind.”  Changed in a Nocturne at 23-12-2014 Gave Crystal and Facet at 2-1-2015 Gave spines at 18-1-2015  By grxndmaster!
