Very jarring to come across one of my own kind infected by this affliction. While yes they look different than me, I could still see myself following in their nature given a stroke of bad luck. There were many more Fae around here, but I have reason to believe that one has hunted the majority of the party down to one. A cautious one, who only seems to feed on scraps and carcasses left behind by bigger and more threatening withered. Their actions remind me very much of a hare out in a field, forever on edge of their surroundings and quick to flee. We Fae typically eat bugs, so the fact that this withered eats only meat supports my theory that the withered may obtain a diet for flesh. And while I think this Fae in particular may be far to gone to communicate anymore with the average dragon, I still can see some kind of sorrow and distress in the way they seem to always be looking for something other than food. I believe they are searching for the pack I previously saw them band with in my first months of coming here, confused by their lonesomeness. Every once in a blue moon I leave some small rodent or bird near their various nests in hopes of keeping them alive until I can find a cure to all this madness. And finding myself hoping they do not end up like their friends.
