Coiled high in the thick branches that blanket the eastern tower of Olympia, Artemis has made the crumbling fortification both her home and post under the order of Horus. She was bitter, initially, still is but to a far lesser degree.

Her transfer had felt like he was getting rid of her, shooing her out of sight after one too many squabbles rather than trying to defend himself from the increasing accusations of favouritism. As if she was counted among his favourites, no he kept that lot close-

And Gods forbid he point out how ironic Lucilla's accusations are.

But she has found something of a fondness for the quiet scenery, only disturbed by birdsong on most mornings and yet not scarce on action either. A swarm of mirrors linger in the forests beyond, and they chance closer more often than not.

She bares her teeth more often now than she ever did in the capital, and that suits her just fine.
