Fosse is the clan's ambassador to the local centaur herds. He's very cool and stoic and reserved, traits which put a wedge of distance between himself and his clanmates, but traits which also bring him closer to the centaurs he communicates with as part of his regular job. Fosse is very fond of the local centaur herds, and spends a lot of time out in the field with them.

When he's out with the local centaur herds, they're usually practicing archery together. Archery is one of the most popular centaur arts, one which Fosse learned from them and is very accomplished at. In fact, archery is the art which originally got Fosse introduced to centaur culture. When he was a hatchling, he expressed interest in it to Poxann, who knew that there were no archers within their own clan, but reached out to a local centaur herd, who were more than happy to teach the young hatchling their art.

The rest is history. A young Fosse spent more time with the local herds than with his own clan, and he picked up their language and culture very quickly. When he came to adulthood, he put in the official request to become the clan's ambassador to the centaurs, and his request was granted without a second thought. There wasn't a dragon more suited for the job.

Iphine

Iphine is the daughter of Fosse's original archery instructor, who is now retired. However, since her mother taught Fosse for so long, the two have known each other for most of their lives. They're inseparable childhood friends, and when Fosse put in the request to become the centaur ambassador, Iphine put in the equivalent request to her elders in turn to become the dragon ambassador for her herd. The two are often found out in the fields together, practicing archery side by side, every slightest movement in sync.
