Enchill
Enchill has the rare capacity for dream magic, and since he holds such a rare talent, he’s made sure to devote his life around it. After all, there are so few dragons blessed with talents in dream magic, so Enchill wants to be readily available to help dragons who require the services dream magic can provide.
Specifically, Enchill is a dreamweaver. He combines his talents with dream magic with his hobby of blanket-making, and weaves together blankets imbued with dream magic. All the dragon has to do is fall asleep with the blanket on top of them, and they will have the kind of dream woven into the blanket. Enchill can conjure any kind of dream this way — good dreams, bad dreams, nightmares, lucid dreams, prophetic dreams, anything. His dream magic truly has no limits.
The blankets he makes are extraordinary, too. While the dream magic imbued in them only works once, the blankets themselves always stay comfortable and secure. They’re enchanted to always be whatever temperature is the most comfortable for the user, whether that is warmer or colder. In addition, the enchantments placed on them relieve insomnia, lulling the user to sleep in minutes. Poppy has joked that Enchill is going to put her out of business.
But putting Poppy out of business is not and never has been Enchill’s intention. Truly, all Enchill wants to do is to share his dreams with others, and in doing so, he has revolutionized sleep within the clan. He could revolutionize sleep across Sornieth, too, if not for a few snarls. Firstly, his dream magic is addicting — using more than one blanket in quick succession can take a serious toll on the user’s mind and make it difficult to sleep without them. Secondly, Enchill’s magic is so rare and powerful, and his blankets take so long to weave, that he’s built up a serious backlog of orders; it could take weeks or months to receive an order.
Enchill is very calm and serene, gentle and patient. He rarely raises his voice above a near-murmur, and he never judges a dragon’s reasoning for requesting a dream blanket from him, although he may try to deter them if he finds their reasoning petty. But in the end, if he finds no reason to really and truly decline, he’s more than willing to work with a client to bring them sweet dreams.
