"What on Sornieth are those mouths doing all over that dragon? Are they... parasites?" asked Harrow. He'd just walked into the workshop of his Mistress, the clan's Sage, to begin the day's work.

"I am uncertain, young one. I have never seen anything like this before, and I can not approach this creature without the seemingly extraneous sets of jaws snapping at me. Come, we need to tend to this specimen and the other one I found," Irulan stated, removing the covering from a nearby enclosure, revealing another identically afflicted dragon.

"There's two of them?!?" Harrow gasped.

The only physical response from Irulan was the side-eye he's grown accustomed to receving in working with her. "There are many wonders to study in this line of work. Some more dangerous than others. Why do you think I chose such a large, strong apprentice? It certainly wasn't for your ability to keep your mouth shut," she chuckled to herself in a monotone.
