Heisenberg
Gentleman | Inventor | Instigator This mysterious wanderer insinuated himself into the ranks of the Seeping Knights almost immediately. No one has questioned this. No one questioned why he marched through the Abiding Boneyard one moonless night and presented himself to the Sapiarchs, or why he swore fealty to them without being prompted to do so. His motives are unknown to all except for Alaric, his fellow knight, and Panoptes, his woebegone instructor in the warrior's path. Panoptes sees much with his large, doleful eyes, and what he sees is more than a healthy rivalry between the two sandsurges. What he also sees is the cause, and he wholly disapproves. Panoptes warns him that he has the heart of a guardian dragon but the conscience of a scaleback. Heisenberg, of course, begs to differ. Having escaped a troubled clan from across the wasteland, Heisenberg isn't willing to talk about his past with most other dragons. He battles his demons in combat with the more tangible shade-touched creatures of the land, and he also melts and hammers them into useful weapons and devices in his workshop. He can be seen in the company of Curie, a fellow inventor, and of Pelamis, another sandsurge and healer-in-training. The latter seems to have a thing for Heisenberg, unless his sonnets and songs are meaningless (spoiler: they are not.) Moonbeast seeks his company as well, as it is also new to the ways of the Pale Scar Clan. Together they discuss the clan's oddities, and Moonbeast regales him with tales of its life when it dwelt in the darkness between the stars. Heisenberg has stated that his wandering days are over, and that he's found a good reason to stick around. That "reason" isn't so sure about him, however...
