The God Of Death | Thanatos

Pulling past the gates of the afterword. Smoke seeps out of cracks of the black stone exterior. Each surface gently dusted with gold flakes. A gentle humming is in the air. As you walk closer to the alluring song, you see a dragon, draped over a branch in a tall, white tree. flowers bloom across the branches, and short vines hang down. Not a single drop of colour is present in its canopy, just white.

He’s a near black dragon, with gold decorated all over his body, and wrapped in multiple layers of black cloth. His tail is long and wraps around each branch segment before lifelessly hanging down at the end. The tail is barbed, with an arrow shaped tip, and wrapped in gold rings.

The dragon stops, and looks over to you; his eyes catching you. He raises a claw and the tree branches follow. They gently wrap around you and hold you in place; Not letting you run.

“You shouldn’t be here” he said, intrigued. He gently smirks at you. His voice is deep and smooth, as if he were a god. He spoke with pride and fascination. He tilted his head at you. “This is not a place for your kind” “only an immortal can keep its presence here.”

He rolled over onto his back and stretched his wings out. He then began to slowly slink down the tree, climbing and twisting around each branch. He made it to the lowest branch and sat, perched like a bird.

“What do you want?” He said sternly. His eyes locked onto yours. “Most dragons come here to sell their soul for power or wealth. To give up their life and servitude to me so that they can claim whatever they want…” he leaned towards your face; staring deep into your soul.

“…So…”

“…what do you desire?~”
