biography.
iceborn by blood, but not in personality. there's more to life than melting ice floes and endless blizzards, but denizens of the southern icefield are dreary folk, growing cagey as their territories shrink and inter-clan conflict explodes. ezra's birth clan was victim to one such war. not even much of a war, it was over in a few blinks after a guardian cut an imperial down to size. both clans scattered in fear, abandoning the magically unstable body in the permafrost. ezra decided he'd had enough. taking wing, he soared to the nearest landmass, where the glaciers shrank and hissed and moaned onerously, at the foot of the starfall isles.

he spent a few moons dabbling at the tourmaline archives, exploring the starwood, and running odd jobs at the oculus of the eleven. curiosities of the magical leylines lead the weyr inevitably outside of the magical isle, where he sought to absorb the profiles of the clans he rarely saw so far south.
