C O R R I G A N

 Corrigan has traveled far and wide learning the stories and songs of various clans- spreading those stories far and wide. He's grown to love each clan and territory he's visited for it's uniqueness but also seeing the similarities between them all. He's learned, at the end of the day, everyone simply desires to live life the best way they can. How they do so varies from clan to clan, but all of them have that core desire running through their way of life. He hailed from a lightning clan himself and still lovingly calls those lands his home. There are times where he misses the energy that coursed through that land- but he knew from a young age that he was destined to wander. Somewhere in his family heritage there had to be a few dragons from the wind tribe, for he had too much desire to go out and see things for there not to be. During his travels he's met many an interesting dragon and creature. Some he's pleased to call his friend, such as Spiritstar and Pokosa, but others he wishes he'd never met. The Nightraider being one such dragon. In all his travels never had he met a dragon touched by The Fade, let alone worship it over one of the other deities. He was certain that this dragon was going to go down in history, he just wasn't sure if it was going to be as a a villain or a hero.

Corrigan is a very lighthearted dragon who doesn't just love music, but lives it. There is nothing he enjoys more then t strum his claws along the strings of his instrument and catch the attention of those nearby while he helps them escape their lives; whether for a few short minutes or a fair few hours. However long they can sit and listen to his play he considers a success in his book. All he wants to do is help them forget about life for a little bit as he tells them stories of hero's great and small. That's why he's stuck around Little Tide- he believes that the small harbor town not only needs a bard to help them forget the shadow they live under, but also knows a bard needs to be there to record what The Nightraider was going to do next. He should have been more careful though. The longer he was in the town the more attention he seemed to be bringing to himself. The residents of little tide were grateful for his presences there- he was never in need of anything as they all saw to it he was well taken care of. Maybe that was the reason he caught the Nightraiders eye. Or maybe it was because he was willing to be vocal about the wrong the war lord was doing. Whatever it was- Corrigan shouldn't have been surprised when Nocturne and Kaleena showed up in his room at the inn to take him away. Corrigan put up a valiant effort to not be taken- but the two crazed followers got the upper hand on him and soon he found himself in the under keep of the Nightraider. With time, and after many 'talks' with the keeper, the Nightraider eventually came and saw him personally down in the under keep. They talked for a long time and it was the first time that Corrigan realized that there seemed to be a constant battle going on inside the Nightraider. He felt he saw something more than just the War Lord for the Shade. So when the Nightraider asked him to join him by his side- Corrigan surprised everyone by accepting. He's positive he sees something good inside the mad Imp, and he is determined to see if that good can be nurtured into a new life. |
