Lamina is Aurelio’s second in command as well as his mate. She is in charge of the clan’s defenses, minimal as they may be, and takes her responsibilities very seriously.

Lamina was born into the service of the Lightweaver and was trained and tutored with that goal in mind. She served as a warrior for many years in a number of battles and when it came time to retire from the front line she was made a guard in the Mirrorlight Promenade. After a time she was assigned as guard detail for one of the region’s more prominent families of the region. It was there that she met Aurelio and, over time, fell in love with the nocturne. She didn’t have high hopes for their relationship despite this. Believing the disparity in their upbringing would create a disparity one way or the other. Instead, Aurelio purposed that they elope and leave the Light flight behind altogether.

She and Aurelio left the Light flight together and traveled for a time eventually coming to settle in an Earth lair that had been Aurelio’s to inherit. Along the way, they discovered an abandoned dragon egg. In the process of trying to find its parent clan the egg hatched and from it a brightly colored Wildclaw emerged. Unable to find the hatchlings family they grew to love the baby dragon the two decided to adopt him as one of their own, naming him Lance.

Lamina's color pallet is fairly similar to Aurelio's, what would otherwise be a funny coincidence is actually by design. When Lamina was hired as a guard to Aurelio's family one of the stipulations of a guard's employment was that they have similar colors as the family member they were assigned to protect. This is where they're similarities end however as Lamina prefers to dress a little more practical than her beloved mate. Lamina's weapon of choice is a trident, which she wields with her tail, using her low center of gravity as an anchor point.

Lamina and Aurelio believed they would be raising Lance alone in the lair Aurelio had inherited, at least until they could grow their numbers. To their surprise, they found the lair already occupied by the very dragon Aurelio was said to have inherited the lair from. Matvei, presumed dead, turned out to very much alive and equally unhinged. Thankfully he seemed to adore the family and though it was hard to make sense of the things he did, he never caused them to harm in any way. In time Lamina came to see him as a part of their strange little family. Recently, however, it seems he has disappeared at the moment they need him most. One of the great Arch's hidden away in the depths of the lair has suddenly opened and dragons from a foreign land are pouring in.
