"Quite the catch today, eh?"

A distant descendant of the warrior Vitali, Okanin was a natural skirmisher. Even from a young age, he would slink away into the woods to catch himself a snack or two. Under his family's tutorage, he became a skilled warrior, even without the materials needed to improve.

After being proved worthy, he was sent out into the world with his reliable relative Lubov - a powerful healer. Together they faced great perils, scouring Sornieth for a clan that needed their protection, as per Vitali’s wishes. One day, they happened upon a strange spot in the Starwood Strand, faced with a scowling young guardian.

She demanded to know their intentions, teeth bared to the intruders. Okanin, the ever quippy, rambled on about their quest as protectors, their training and lineage, with Lubov occasionally stepping in to clarify the spiral’s words. The guardian was not impressed, but the small fae that she had concealed was. Joyful (as they later learned was his name) appreciated the extra hands for the protection of his clan, as the clearing was very at risk of destruction. And so, the warriors settled in, ready to fight for the blossoming lair.

Time has passed, and Okanin is a primary scout and trainer for the clan of memories. He charges head first into combat, with fast slices bringing the enemies down, but often leaving himself vulnerable. Outlander, the guardian his training partner, has often had to drag his unconscious body back from many unfortunate fights.
