Main Theme: Reverence for what's been lost

______ The only thing he has ever known is this clearing. It might sound tragic, sure, but he has never thought of it that way. Born from a lone egg, he had to learn how to fend for himself at a young age. But never truly alone. Around his birthplace, circling the strange stone column that rises from the center of the clearing, ghostly shapes form and dissipate like reflections on a tumultuous sea. “Echoes”, he named them, “pieces of the past leaking through time”. He took upon himself to record them, study them, and he carried this burden alone. Until a stranger came upon his home.

______ Now, the clearing is rife with life. Hundreds of dragons live both above and below the land, and hundreds more pass by to trade or ascend. Even so, he prefers to keep to himself, watching the growing populace with a detached perspective. It's not that he doesn't care for his clan members, oh no, it's simply that he doesn't want to interfere, remaining as a silent observer. The only dragon that he allows himself to remain close to is his protector and first friend, the Outlander.
