Amemasu
Squire | Fisher | Totally Alive Amemasu is Woodbine's most successful (or only successful) experiment. The Sapiarchs hit the roof when Woodbine presented them with her beautiful new undead girlfriend--none of them thought that Woodbine could actually pull it off! Mistaking their surprise and misgivings for outright rejection, Woodbine fled with Amemasu to her hideaway in a nearby bog. She sobbed as she wrung herself into knots, wondering what she would do now that the Sapiarchs finally were going to crack down on her. She despaired in the burly arms of her new girlfriend... or she would have, if Amemasu hadn't wandered off. Fearing that Shelby and the others had ordered her execution, Woodbine sped away to find her creation, her love, before she could be unfairly put down like a dog in the streets. She didn't have very far to go before she observed Foyada and Aqen outfitting Amemasu with a fishing rod and creel after observing her batting at the water and watching the fish therein with laser-like focus and a slowly wagging tail. "She's simply precious!" Foyada said to her husband. "Quite, my love! Quite." He spotted Woodbine, and he grinned. "You've outdone yourself this time, lass. You might want to keep her... mortal status a secret in front of outsiders, but by the Plaguemother, the Sapiarchs are over the moon with this development of yours!" "They... they like her?" Woodbine's ears rose slightly. "Indeed. And with her coloration, you can scarcely tell that she's a... well," Foyada covered Amemasu's ears, "a corpse." Woodbine glided to her girlfriend's side, and she nuzzled her fondly. Then, she perked up. "Oh! And I have a waiver that she signed before passing away--she agreed to this procedure!" Aqen chuckled. "Yes, of course. You don't have to worry about us, dear girl. But I must stress once more, do not brag about this accomplishment to anyone outside our clan..." Amemasu may not have the most conventional personality, but she would never harm a fly--well, except to use it as bait. She loves exactly two things in this whole world: fishing and her girlfriend. She's slow to speak, but she's a surprisingly quick thinker, and not unskilled in the battlefield. This is thanks to the shade-touched nature of all undead things. Her innate aggression has been dampened considerably by the variations made to the reagents used in Woodbine's necromantic formula.
