Aqen is what one might call well-read. He has studied every dusty tome and scroll in the Sapiarchs' collection, he's written a few himself, and he can recite to you the details of almost every major war between flights and between beastclans. What truly catches his attention, however, is the oral history of things, as uttered in their own words.

When one enters his cavernous chamber in the lair, it's not uncommon to see him chatting away with a cracked tea set, or convincing a haunted wardrobe to keep its drawers and doors from slamming in the middle of the night, or even asking a comb not to knot a dragon's fur even further when in use. Don't run away--no one means you any harm! As things age, they gain a life of their own, and with life there sometimes comes a contrarian urge or two. Aqen's job is to appeal to these venerable spirits to play nice, and to make them feel like valued members of the clan.
