The Nocturne crouched at Falcera's side, determined to defend her adoptive mother from the plague ridden Ridgeback that towered before them. Her mother began to pale as blood oozed from where the giant impaled her with it's tail, Manstren standing over, powerless as his mate slipped away from him.
Whether Aidelbaum belonged to this clan or not, the hatchling would not tolerate any threat to her family. She was a sick mutt, and had to be put down. The Nocturne disappeared from sight as the beast swung a huge claw towards her, narrowly missing Manstren's face as he roared at the underling who dared to defy them. He leapt towards the flailing dragon, but it fell to the floor before he reached her, a black Nocturne with crimson stained swings perched on it's face, dagger like claws still in the eyes of her enemy.
She was dubbed a hero that day. She had prevented the fall of their clan's leaders and kept her mother, who after her recovery named her DarkDagger. Falcera keeps this young dragon close, raising her as her own and ensuring she is treated with all the respect she deserves. Falcera does not have any of her brood living in her lair, but that does not mean that she does not have a daughter.
