You enter the mighty grove, brushing past the huge, dimly glowing mushrooms nervously as all but a few of the beasts there turn to look at you, their minds already scheming at the sight of you.
There are many dragons here,big and small, young and old, the fierce and the wise, the intelligent and the strong, but all have one thing in common.
Their loyalty.
You struggle to see your conquest through the mass of wings and familiars, the horde refusing to budge as they continue their sparring and plotting, all while keeping their heads trained on you.
A huge guardian, bigger than any you've seen before, leaps upon a rock towards the back of the clearing against the cliff wall. The azure winged, purple eyed beast lets out a roar that makes the trees around you shake, and immediately every dragon separates into two sections with a clear path down the middle, just big enough for you to walk through. The guardian nods at you, and beckons you forward.
You walk through the path, surrounded on both sides by dragons that stare in anticipation. You reach the end of the path, to see nothing. The guardian is towards your right, continuing to watch you. You open your mouth to speak, but are knocked to the floor on your chest.
Quickly rolling onto your back, a mirror adorned in the tatters of many kills leaps on you, her skull covered head, deep black eyes, and gaping jaw full of great fangs inches away from your face. But then she backs off, returning to her original place at the end of the pathway, the guardian moving to her side. She nods at you, and the other dragons return to their chattering. You may stay here as long as you wish, but be careful, lest you be drawn into the shadows yourself.

Ranks : Low - High
Unranked: These dragons are not an official part of the clan, but do live in and around the main lair, having many dealings with the clan. A largely lore driven rank.

Lifeless: Dragons that have been chosen to become a mindless fighter under the command of Vamp, often known as ghouls. All lifeless are part of a terrifying, merciless army. A large majority of these dragons are destined for exaltation, whereas others have been brought back from the dead. Formally deceased dragons are sometimes sentient.

Rank 2: These dragons, whilst of their own minds, do not have a designated place of importance within the clan. Often sold or used for breeding stock.

Rank 3: Dragon of note, all of which have a role within the clan. They have little danger of being expelled from the clan unless they fall in rank.

Rank 4: Dragons essential to the running of the clan. They include envoy dragons that represent other elemental flights. They have a permanent home unless they fall in rank.

Advisor: The highest honour a dragon can have with the family. They sit under only the clan's leaders; Falcera and Manstren, who seek them for advisement in important matters. They shall always have a home here.
