Duneyrr is not the most eloquent, it must be said. Perhaps it is why he is so taken with the art of silent communication, giving him an out of endlessly tumbling over words and shoving his foot in his mouth without meaning to. If there is a wrong thing to say, Duneyrr can be relied upon to say in, unintentionally and without thinking. Thankfully, he's only caused one inter-clan disaster so far, which he feels isn't all that bad. At least it wasn't an international disaster, right? And whilst his general talent for saying exclusively the wrong thing isn't ideal, it is a fantastic way of soaking up attention (as, for reasons he doesn't quite understand, the dragons of Valhall love him despite these frequent laps in social etiquette). This roundabout way of garnering the attention he solely needs is both frustrating and ironically hilarious, and Duneyrr has yet to decide whether he loathes it or loves it. It is a treasure trove of data, too, as silent communication truly hits the peak when someone blunders epically in the midst of a large crowd! Have you ever witnessed that? It's fascinating. Mortifying for him, as he's usually the one blundering, but fascinating. Dragons can wear so many expressions, the slightest shifts mean deceptively much, and every exchanged glance is a conversation. That moment when everyone stars exchanging silent glances, however? That moment is the perfect moment to shapeshift into an inconspicuous tumbleweed and exit stage left. Like, immediately. Yesterday. Duneyrr mostly shapeshifts to escape his own blunders, awkward conversations (with zero social awareness, mind you), and other less than ideal situations he can't be bothered entertaining further. Besides, without his blunders, Duneyrr wouldn't have met his ever-supportive partner, and then where would he be? Being the resident foot-mouth guy in the clan is sad. At least with Hunangsfall, he doesn't have to do it all alone. | __ |

__ Duneyrr is one of the Restless Replicas, situated in Valhall and partnered for life with Hunangsfall. He uses his shapeshifting prowess for a multitude of tasks, but his main job within the clan is as a metalworker. Given his unique circumstances and the ability to use his shapeshifting to affect objects outside himself, Duneyrr is quite successful at what he does, too, and is often requested for specific work suited to his talents. He is a first generation descendant of the Marrow line, which, he'll admit, is not something he often has time to think about. Duneyrr is far too busy cleaning up his own messes and work to reminisce about his parentage. Though, when the night has fallen and peace falls, he is prone to thinking on it and his purpose; the reason he was sent out into the world to begin with. | __ |

Working in the Frostfyre Forges, Duneyrr spends almost as much time underground as he does making a fool of himself. He works closely with a range of specialized metalworkers and artists, all coming together to ensure the Valhallan forges remain some of the finest in the southern parts of the Icefields. ________UNKNOWABLE __ Duneyrr is fascinated by the unsaid. The amount that can be communicated without the use of words - the up-down of a Coatl’s hum, and the flicker-flash of a Fae’s frills. The meanings in a glance, or a fidgeting tail, or the nervous tapping of claws on the table. In a perfect world, he could be some hermit academic and send assistants out to gather field data. But being a recluse is dangerous, in this family, and anyway no one’s volunteering to conduct these linguistic interviews for him.
