H imitsu...the secret. Born of witch-cursed blood and ancient magic. Sitting deep with in the tangled wood, she stirs the darkest demons hidden in the depth of dragon kind. After all it is only when one knows and confronts the demons of madness, hysteria, and furor can they grow and move past the panic and fear. It is only the darkness that can identify the darkness itself.

The Sturgeon Moon, The Red Moon, hung twice in the skies of Sorinth. It was on the twice blessed night that the moon hung close to the land, and on that night the egg of Nikandros and Tsukiyomi hatched in the quiet of their nest. Through the ancient magic, her card was revealed. Five of Pentacles Reversed. The Panic, Chaos, and Waiting. A contemptuous growl filled the deathly quiet of the moon shrouded nest, shade hewn eyes narrowed at her family. Even a young beast hungers. One born of darkness that would need care to keep from being consumed from the very darkness she carried. Her name would carry the warning.
Himitsu…The Secret
The question became, where could they send their child, to learn to control the darkness she carried. The answer came in the form of an imperial Morrioghain, a priestess of Shadow, adopted by shade cursed parents and the consort to an Avariel mage.
“I will take your child, deep into the heart of our court, her beast will flourish and she will learn the heart of the darkness she carries. It will not consume her.” The promises were whispered while the moon still hung high in the sky. That night the little hatchling was bundled up into the darkness where both priestess and beast disappeared.
The Pretense Court
Shrouded in shadow, hidden from the light even in the pinnacle of the day. The court would become the home of the young Barghest. As she grew, her tongue became like molten silver, and sharp. She plucked the innermost fears of young dragonkind to the surface with a mere glance, with a sentence she sent many panicking away from their darkest desires and from the Shade. Her feasts were of shade corrupted, and child eaters as she studied her magic. Determined to claim more than just a witchkin.

Shadow Runestone Shadow: Those with shade-hewn eyes covet the darkness. These beasts are tied the most closely to the moon, their power waxing and waning with the lunar cycle.
Moon-cycle: gain additional strength depending on moon phase.
Shadow Binding: capable of hiding and traveling within the shadows of mortals; those infected often appear to have two shadows.
Silver Tongue: can persuade those they speak to into believing anything they say.

These dragons are skilled craftmakers, working very closely of those Witchborne under the Thunder and Flower Moons. They are creative and resourceful with any material they can get their hands on, forging the useless into the useful with anything within reach. They could find and create any kind of tool, either a bejeweled ring that points out the most accurate of directions, or a sword that could never break despite opponent nor age. They are the most trusted with creating weapons or tools that Witchborne use against the darkness and its mire. Child-Eaters could never touch what is Witchborne made, and it is up to these dragons under the Red Moon to make sure that it stays that way so.
