Since his birth, Asterales has been compared countless times to his great-great-great-great-great-grandmother Sunset, from the color of the wings to the texture of his mane. Where other young dragons may develop an inferiority complex - or worse, a big head from the constant attention - Asterales has managed to take it all in stride, finding his own reasons to admire his sparkly scales and shaggy mane. He's his own dragon, after all, even if he might be mistaken for another one!
Asterales was born colorblind, and never quite understood why he was special. The attention made him feel pressured as he aged; dragons would constantly compliment his colors and compare him to his ancestors, but he always felt awkward accepting the compliments since he couldn’t see his only colors. As a young adult, feeling rather lost with his place in the world, he sought out a mage and asked for help.
After some research and tests, the mage was able to give him the ability to see colors, and he was overjoyed! Now, he LOVES colors, especially flashy, bright, and conflicting combinations.
Asterales loves hatchlings and colors, and is polyamorous, often seeking out new parters he can have beautiful hatchlings with. He’s happy and energetic, and his role in the clan is that of an eclectic artisan. He sees the occupations and roles of his friends and family, and has a hard time choosing just one, thus becoming a "jack-of-all-trades," and enjoying all kinds of hobbies - music, dance, hunting, swimming, teamaking, art... there's barely anything he can't do (or at least try to do)! However, this also makes him feel a little lost and confused as to what path he should take in life. For now, he volunteers his time helping other working dragons of the clan.

One restaurant visit later, he was in love. He invited her to stay at Quilrarth Clan, she happily agreed, and that was that.
