The Firstborn
Steelflight is the first hatchling of the very first clutch for this clan. Her steel colored wings are her distinguishing feature, allowing her to stand out from her two clutchmates (who happen to share the same fae species and primary lemon coloring). She was the heaviest hatchling from her clutch. In adulthood her sister, Gemwings, has since taken over the the title of heaviest fae dragon for her species represented here in this clan. However, Steelflight took over the title of longest fae, much to her sister's chagrin.
She is a very competitive dragon, striving to prove her strength and worth to any who would doubt her capabilities. Being the first egg to hatch in this clan may not matter to others, but it means a great deal to her and she is willing to go toe to toe with any who would challenge that. She adores her mate, Embercoal, and relies on his calm disposition and steadfast nature to get her through the rougher days. Even though she doesn't talk about it, it bothers her that she has not been able to give her mate a spiral offspring, and she hopes one day she will be able.
