INFORMATION:

Specimen S-017J-H, also known as "Seraki" by Specimen S-016J-H, "Sephiroth", is the 17th and final created specimen in the Jenova Project. S-017J-H was meant as a replacement in the case that S-016J-H was inadequate as a project specimen. However, due to S-016J-H's overwhelming success as a genetically modified super soldier, there was no longer any need for S-017J-H to be turned into a super soldier for the company's SOLDIER program. Specimen S-017J-H will now be used to further research on the effects Jenova cells have on the body. Jenova cells will be added in small quantities every other week. Specimen S-017J-H also MUST be given free roam with Specimen S-016J-H and S-017J-H must only be brought back to the lab when it is time for experimentation, as S-016J-H will not allow him to be taken otherwise. Also, the metal plate embedded on S-017J-H's right talon has been updated to and changed to a stronger metal. It now includes his specimen name, given name, and gender, and the metal was switched out from titanium to chromium to be more durable.

NOTES:

-Specimen S-017J-H and Specimen S-016J-H are brothers. S-017J-H is younger than S-016J-H by about 4 years.

-Specimen S-017J-H is male. We know he looks like a girl, but that's just because of his hair.

-It has been noted that Specimen S-017J-H prefers the name "Seraki", given to him by his older brother, S-016J-H, "Sephiroth". However, unlike his older brother, you must use his specimen name. We don't want attachment issues like the previous specimens. This rule only applies to the scientists.

-S-017J-H has been noted to have a very skittish temperament. He will not fight back no matter the circumstances, preferring to instead hide. There is only one circumstance that will make him attack.

-On that note, it has also been observed that S-016J-H will protect his younger brother at all costs and is also never far from him. Be careful if you have to bring S-017J-H to the lab, lest you anger S-016J-H in the process.

-S-017J-H had a rough time when the wing on his right shoulder sprouted. He went to his brother for help due to distrust of the scientists. It was reported that there were some issues with releasing the wing, requiring a manual cut to be made on the shoulder to let it out.

-Specimen S-017J-H's wing does not move. It has no feeling and drags behind him. He is usually seen preening in his free time while waiting for his brother. He keeps the feathers shoved in his belt and other articles of clothing. DO NOT REMOVE THEM. Removing any feathers from either his wing or clothing WILL result in you meeting the only time S-017J-H will attack.

-S-017J-H has also been observed to flee the immediate area after being teased by others in the SOLDIER program for following his brother. Sometimes he runs to the forest and we can retrieve him with no issue while other times, S-016J-H must be sent to find, comfort, and coax him back to the kingdom.

-Due to the amount of Jenova cells in S-017J-H's body nearing double the amount in S-016J-H's body, it has been noted that he can use much more devastating magic much easier than his older brother. Of course, he never uses this magic unless forced due to his skittish nature.

-S-017J-H will gift feathers to those he trusts. This behavior has been observed primarily with S-016J-H and S-016J-H's two friends. It is unknown why this is and if he does this same thing to those he meets outside of the kingdom.

-The feather gifting process is simple. S-017J-H removes a loose from his wing and places it somewhere on the recipient's body. He can give someone as many feathers as he likes. It has been observed that those who have more of his feathers are those that he trusts most. S-016J-H has the most of his feathers so far. Also, removing a gifted feather does not anger S-017J-H, only saddens him a little because it represents a deep trust to him. Reassurance that you are not throwing away the feather or denying his gift is enough to make him happy once more.

-The blue flames surrounding S-017J-H are an anomaly. He holds no fire or ice materia of any kind, yet he can summon blue flames at his will. There has been superstition among the scientists that these are not just mere flames, but manifestations of spirits from the afterlife.

-Any new observations must be recorded on this sheet.

-A note has been given to S-017J-H in the case he ends up in another clan, a copy of which can be found below.

This is Specimen S-017J-H, also known as "Seraki". If you are reading this, then he has likely escaped from the Shinra laboratories. Do not fear, though, as he is a known harmless specimen as long as you don't take any feathers off his body. His brother, S-016J-H, "Sephiroth", will come to pick him up when time allows. Please do not send him off to anywhere else and keep a close eye on him. It would be appreciated if you wrote down anything he does on a sheet of paper, especially about any relationships he builds within your clan or any behaviors he exhibits, and keep it with him to bring back to the kingdom. A copy of his most recent and updated info sheet should be attached to this note. Thank you.

Moments at the Traveling Breeze

Seraki’s peers in the SOLDIER program were back at it again. They were teasing him relentlessly causing him to run off once again however, this time much farther from the kingdom. Still feeling quite upset, he found a band of traveling dragons that called themselves the Traveling Breeze and shyly inserted himself into the group hoping to get even further away. It's the safer option than traveling alone in unknown lands! What he does not realize is that he had joined an experience he would never forget and be very different from his time in the kingdom…

It had been awhile here at the Traveling Breeze and Sephiroth had been watching his brother, Seraki, interact with the clan. However, time was up and it was about time to go back to the Kingdom so Sephiroth approached his brother ready to convince him to go back. “Seraki, brother.”

Seraki looked towards Sephiroth with a happy gleam in his eye, “Yeah?”

“It is time for us to go back. I know what the Soldiers say plague you but they only poke fun. You are strong-willed and powerful just like me. The Kingdom needs you and me, meaning we need to go back now.”

Seraki looks at Sephiroth with confusion. “Plague me? I barely have thought about them at all ever since I’ve been traveling with this clan here! Also, do you really think so?” He beams up at his brother with excitement at his compliment while avoiding the demand to go home.

Now it was Sephiroth’s turn to be confused. “What do you mean you have barely thought about them? Is it not the Soldiers teasing that makes you run away everytime and not want to come back?” Waving off Seraki’s question.

“Well, it is but…” Seraki shuffles around nervously. “This time it is not the reason why I do not want to go back.”

“What do you mean?”

Seraki gestures to all around him, “Look around, Sephiroth! Isn’t this just so different from our Kingdom?”

Sephiroth looks around and sees the many dragons walking about. The bustling of goods and conversation fill the air along with a light breeze that welcomes those into the clan. It was also… unnecessarily bright for his taste but the warmth felt nice. “...And?”

A sigh escapes Seraki’s mouth. “Can you not feel and see it?”

“I do. It’s nice here, but is that really cause for staying when we have somewhere else to be?”

“Yes!” For the first time Seraki becomes a bit agitated which throws Sephiroth off guard. “It is the cause!”

Sephiroth waves off Seraki’s agitation “It is nice back at the Kingdom. Everything is provided to us there.”

Seraki glares at Sephiroth, “You just don’t get it do you? For once I feel welcomed. For once I feel like I belong. FOR ONCE I am not TEASED just because of who I am! Something I cannot change no matter how hard I try! I have never learned more than I ever did back at the Kingdom and here you are trying to rush me out to go back to somewhere that’s nice but not welcoming to me!” As Seraki reprimands Sephiroth he takes steps forward as Sephiroth takes steps back. That was when Seraki noticed what he was doing and immediately backed away from his brother, a bit ashamed. “I am sorry. I just… do not want to leave just yet…” he sighs in defeat.

Sephirtoh continued to stare at his brother with wide eyes. Did this clan really give his brother… a spark of confidence? Maybe he should have observed everything through a different lens. Seraki’s lens. He puts a hand on Seraki’s shoulder, smiling a rare smile.

“Then let us stay just a little longer.”

Seraki was very nervous. He looked at Osian anxiously as Osian read the note that the scientist gave to Seraki in order to hand it to others if he ever got lost or just ended up in a predicament. Seraki was not sure of the contents but the scientist and his brother said it was important. Osian analyzes the note as he hums to himself.

“So, you are Seraki… and you want to travel with us?”

Seraki nods as he shrinks into himself, “Yes… if that is alright with you? I know you are the leader and I think it would be great to travel and do things and it’s safer and…”

Osian politely interrupts, “Of course you can travel with us! We love having traveler’s join us for whatever reason!”

“Y-you do? So you do not need in depth details or anything? I can just… join?” Seraki asks in shock.

“No details! We are not a clan that focuses on someone’s origins. This is a place of acceptance and we have many personalities here. I hope you enjoy your time here. We are going to be going from the Wind Territory to the Shadow Territory soon so you can relax and get to know us until we hit the road!”

Seraki cannot help but be infected by Osian’s enthusiasm as he perks up out of his nervous state. “This is amazing! Thank you!” He attempts to shake Osian’s hand though ends up flinging him around due to his size. “Whoops! Sorry, it seems I got too excited…”

Osian laughs, “Do not be sorry! Welcome to the Traveling Breeze!”

Seraki looks around and feels a bit of his anxiety lift as he sees the many dragons doing their own little things… how interesting!

Wonder filled Seraki’s eyes as he looked around the bustling nature of the Traveling Breeze. There were just so many things going on! However, what caught his eyes in the midst of the clan was an array of pastries with pastel colors. The smell as well… it was just divine! Seraki slinked over to the stand where he saw Dream delicately adding frosting to a fresh batch. Dream notices him and smiles, “Why hello Seraki! Good day so far isn’t it?”

Seraki nods as he keeps his eyes on the pastries, “It is! Though I must ask, what is that delightful smell?”

“It’s my famous cream puffs. I am a well known baker and the next clan we are going to has requested a certain amount from me to bring.”

“Oh… I see…” Seraki sulks a bit knowing that these are not for sale.

Dream simply laughs, “Do not sulk! I usually make a little extra than requested so you can have some of these fresh ones I just made.”

“R-really? I would love one! But…” Seraki rethinks, “the scientists back at the kingdom usually say I cannot have certain things. I don’t remember what though but I feel like it is one of these things.”

“But are the scientists here right now?” Dream inquires as he holds a creampuff to Seraki. “I don’t think one would hurt right? Plus, we can keep this little secret between us. What do you say?” As he tempts him with the delicious pastry.

Seraki keeps looking around and back at the pastry like a child about to get into trouble. “Deal!” Quickly he eats the pastry as he revels in the soft sweet flavor. “This is SO good! Though, I am sure I cannot have another…”

“Ha! Maybe you can have another one tomorrow since these ‘scientists’ have you on some sort of diet.”

“Then I’ll be back tomorrow! I can’t wait to show my brother your pastries as well!” He says as he feels the sugar rush through his body feeling quite the sugar rush coming on…

Seraki was having lots of fun since his brother, Sephiroth, allowed him to stay longer. Though he knew the time was coming where he would actually have to leave… for some reason he did not feel too sad. Maybe it was because he could run away again and maybe find them again?

As he sat there lost in thought he saw Radinen approaching him. “Almost time to leave right?” Radinen says to Seraki.

“Yeah… I’m gonna miss it here though for some reason I feel like this isn’t going to be the last time. Maybe that is why I am not so sad?” Seraki ponders.

Radinen chuckles, “Well, it is true we are not disappearing from the world anytime soon. Plus you and your brother are welcome here anytime.” He sits across from Seraki. “I must say. It seems like you are a whole different dragon than when you first got here.”

Seraki tilts his head. “Really? You think so?”

“I know so. Even your brother looks at you in pride. He seems very proud of you.”

“Huh.” Seraki smiles, “Well, I guess I would have to thank your clan for that. Truly. I feel like I can face anything!”

“Haha! Do not get too confident!” Radinen jokes with Seraki.

Seraki laughs before coming to a decision. He smiles warmly. “There are so many of you and not enough feathers…” Seraki plucks one blue feather from his wing and hands it to Radinen. “I wish to give your clan this feather of mine out of appreciation. I would give one to all of you, but I’m afraid I would have none left!”

“Why, this is a very kind gift for the clan. We shall keep it safe and it shall become a treasure to us.” Radinen quickly preserves it as he bows to Seraki.
