Biography
3/6
Based on an original character from one of my stories
Not a fandragon; but also a homage to things I love: Arcaea/SCP/Various Horror Games/Etc.
Young adult
Feeling 'everything' but 'all of it,' she awoke in her kitchen.
How long was she out for? Things seemed quite fuzzy -- everything, really.
It wasn't amnesia.
She remembered everything: She knew her name -- it was Charity. She knew which family she came from -- a strained couple with three children. She knew her place at school -- a popular student in many clubs, most prominently student government. She knew all of her friends.
Even then, Charity wasn't sure how to feel about all of this information. It was like emotional amnesia -- whatever she knew, she forgot how she ever felt about them. Everything felt bland and meaningless.
Except for one fact: She knew her best friend was Dorothy. They had always been friends. In fact, her desire (compulsion?) to find and protect her was this moment's strongest emotion.
Dorothy was important somehow. Everything else, not so much.
But why?
Maybe Dorothy would tell her...
This is worrying. Charity sat up. She ran her talon across her face, attempting to sweep aside her mane.
To her surprise, she noticed her left eye had been replaced by a white flower. Even then, she could still see everything.
Dorothy would know why, right? That's why Charity felt such desire.
Charity did not know that she had died. Her corpse was elsewhere -- her body a shell of its former self, another supernatural being called a 'shadow' to follow Dorothy.
