Based on an original character from one of my stories
Not a fandragon; but also a homage to things I love: Arcaea/SCP/Various Horror Games/Etc. Also a dragon inspired by my roommate -- if you see this and recognize it is you, I want to let you know that you are the BEST roommate ever!
Name is pronounced "Ten" or like "Then." Your choice.
Young adult
Long ago, dragonkind did something that today considered an impossible task: They managed to wipe out an entire species of Shade-touched beings. Specifically, demons.
Today's mythos make them sound like a product of fiction: Who would believe that emotionless beings existed? Ones that resembled dragonkind and killed them despite gaining no benefit from it? But they did exist. They existed eons too far back to even record. Just like that, dragonkind's achievements in taking demons down had never been logged.
Then's family, however, knew they came from a legendary line of demon slayers. They didn't have physical evidence, but they did 'feel' it in their minds. It was a family bedtime story.
When shadows popped up, Then knew it was his time to shine. Well, in between deep sleep and napping that is. After all, his parents investigated and collected strange objects and anomalies.
Aside from slaying rogue ones, he wanted to study where from and why they came to be.
The slaying part was easy. His line's proof came to be: Whereas supernatural monsters need crystals and silver bullets to stave off, Then uses his bare will -- courtesy of the strong might his Earth element gave him. He channels his will throughout his body, being able to strike monsters with a shock-like force -- centering them in his fists. Right before they disintegrate from a one-hit kill, the last thing they'll see is the brown of his eyes turning electric blue.
Fortunately, this was quite helpful when he was looking for his missing roommate, Dorothy. Some shadows named Charity and Nash crossed paths with him, deciding they needed his help...
