Biography
Quarta's mother is Dmitriyevna and her father is Tertie. She is descended from:
Zazi and Dmitriy, the parents of Dmitriyevna; Kwen and Locke, the parents of Zazi; Feign and Beast, the parents of Dmitriy; Secunda and Luxon, the parents of Tertie; Katyushka and Ojnk, the parents of Secunda; and Cleo and Ambros, the parents of Luxon.
In other words, she has exactly eight first-gen great-grandparents.
Her sole clutchmate, Tetarti, never planned to stay in the Solar Solar; since Quarta knew she wanted to stay from almost the moment she hatched, she was the thirty-second permanent member of the clan from that moment, just a little younger than Sequens, the youngest child of Katyushka and Ojnk at the time. None of her mother's other children have decided to stay with the Solar Solar, and only one of her father's other children, Coalgleam, has decided to do so.
Of her own four children, only one, Quinta, has chosen to remain with the clan; the other three, as well as their father, Sandwich Music, have gone to serve the Lightweaver. Quinta shares Quarta's secondary and tertiary genes, but has added piebald patterns to her fur; in color she resembles neither parent.
Since her first Brightshine Jubilee, Quarta has worn magical fur patterns that make her glow. During the preparation for her third Brightshine Jubilee, pachirisudrew baked a giant cupcake for her: the cup for her skin, of course, the sprinkles for her eyes, and the cake, frosting, and candy for her primary, secondary, and tertiary colors:
