Uh-oh, looks like this Sandsurge wandered a little too far from his home lair, and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Once the Sandsurge breed was discovered, the tunneling dragons had to deal with many, many visitors barging into their lives, wanting to study, question and recruit them. Many were annoyed by this, but others saw in it a business opportunity. If the surface dragons wanted to interview the Sandsurges, they would oblige... for a price.

Rates were high, and profits even higher, now that the Sandsurges decided to charge dragons for their time. If the surface-dwellers wanted to go even further and add one to their lair permanently, they'd better have the funds to pay the fees.

But then there was Steve. He watched all of this go down, the way the economy went crazy right after Sandsurges were discovered, how his peers accumulated wealth... and decided he wanted none of it. The surface breeds were simply excited to meet new dragons, and he thought it was ridiculous to charge them for it. So he didn't.

Very quickly he made many friends, brightening dragons' days with his presence.

Introductions in the Everbloom
Steve was enthusiastically welcomed to the clan and initially monopolized by TanikMax who wanted to know how to best improve parts of the extensive lair design to accommodate any Sandsurge preferences. This resulted in extensive expansion downward into caverns deeper than many Riodgebacks, though without the near-constant tunneling "adjustments". While their discussions, debates and sometimes arguments took much of his time, he was welcomed by others. He was invited to play in the Coli with BattleMage Ossia and the clan's most exuberant warrior BloomThorn. He was invited to participate in alchemical experiments under the enthusiastic supervision of NyxLight who came from a long line of alchemists. While all of this was interesting, especially arguing with TanikMax, he didn't feel called to any path in particular, and continued his explorations.

Adventures in the Fount of Travelers
Next, Steve remained in the Gladekeeper's territory, traveling to a beautiful garden glen full of many, many visitors and travelers. The hosts of this area, the happy husbands Axolotl and IceCream, seemed completely overwhelmed by the amount of travelers staying here! When he arrived, Steve just had a pastry shoved in his mouth as he tried to introduce himself. The dessert was still blisteringly hot, fresh from the oven! It was otherwise delicious, although now he had a burnt tongue to contend with. He felt bad for the hosts who seemed frantic with all these dragons wanting attention or different things from them, including pastries. No wonder they had just assumed he wanted one! He felt bad for them, not wanting to burden them further, so he didn't stay long.

Wii sports in the wii courts
Nobody knew what a sandsurge was in JENKINSland so no one cared but they all thgoujt he was cool and purple. And when he said his name was steve they all said EH STEVE!!!!!! And so he became s new friend and a hit. Thue evil clones brought Steve to their basement so that they could all play.....DA WII!!!! They played WII BOWLING nad mario party 8. Steve even made his own MII!!!!!!!!! They all laughed and played and they thogutb he would choose waluigi in mario party because he is purple but instead he chose toadette becayse he shared her adventureous spirit. Steve really knocked ot out of the park he was the best wii player but not in the fail way in the cool way. Suddenly he had levelled up to level 1000!!!!!! He was now the ultimate nintendo wii

A Friend?
Steve stayed the night in Crow Callers - he was the first travelling dragon to stop by the clan in quite some time. During his stay, he met Imelda, a fellow Sandsurge who was new to the clan. The two of them hoped to meet each other again sometime.

The Lightning Clan
Steve found himself in the Shifting Expanse.There he stumbled across the clan of Cloudsplit, an industrious lightning clan, with their lair carved into the sides of canyons. Steve wasn't the only Sandsurge in the clan, and he was happy to meet new dragons and make friends. Though he was welcomed and made comfortable it was clear that the clan didn't need much help. Before he left however, Steve gave a young hatchling Jahzara the secrets to become a Sandsurge like himself.

The Shadow Clan
Steve finally made it to Night's lair after being tossed around and had hatchlings with his new mate who also joined in on the moving, Steve notice that he wanted to do something about his species being used as a high valued dragon, he wanted his species to be loved by others and for people to have them without breaking the bank. Steve wanted to put an end to this, with Nighty's help they're going to change the game
