TanikMax

TanikMax is an engineer. Her passion is the development of wards which include not just the traditional Gaoler magic, but a synthesis of stone and use of living plants and other materials to anchor the energies. She is the reason that the clan's Fae constructs, which are larger than most, do not collapse under their own weight.

Her name TanikMax is shortened from Baubotanik Dymaxia, then usually shortened much more to "Max". Her more "formal" name is based on a combination of Baubotanik which refers to a type of construction using living plants; usually trees along with more traditional building materials. The second part is an adaptation of Dymaxian which is a term coined by Buckminster Fuller a famed innovator and architect. His definition was "maximum gain of advantage from minimal energy input" which was a very fancy way of saying incredibly innovative design
