A storyteller by trade. Kalee, inspired by the myths, legends, and folklore from all over Sornieth, decided as a young dragon that she wanted to tell stories, too. Even as a hatchling, she would tell made-up stories to her friends, family, and to anyone who would listen, really. There's something magical about spinning a tale, and sharing it with others, in her opinion. It's like sharing a piece of yourself with the world.

Her stories range from the lighthearted stories you might tell hatchlings to entertain them, to absolutely horrifying and macabre tales that would send a chill down even the most hardiest dragon's spine. She enjoys the diversity, and finds that not all stories should be comfortable to listen to; sometimes a tale is meant to provoke emotions, even negative ones, and that's good! Even a horrible story with downright disturbing themes has a message, even if sometimes all that message is is to disturb. A cozy story warms the heart, a disturbing story provokes the mind and soul.

Sometimes, fiction should disturb the comfortable, and comfort the disturbed. And sometimes, fiction should be sunshine and rainbows and mindless entertainment. All types of stories have the potential to be wonderful, if told by the right person in the right way.

Kalee also enjoys it when her stories get written down, but it's hard for her to do that. She does, however, receive help from Arlena, the librarian, which Kalee's thankful for. She's happy that, with Arlena writing down her stories, that others get to enjoy them, too, even when Kalee's not there to tell them.
