A horrible, robotic monster created by Dr. Gonne and his crew. Augmented by a piece of The Machine, the Self Eater is an immortal being with an unrivaled bloodlust, and the capability to permanently destroy one's soul upon engaging them in combat. There is no known way to permanently put it out of commission, as even after destroying it piece by piece, it simply reassembles itself after some time, and continues on its rampaging crusade, as once you have drawn its attention, it will keep hunting you to the ends of the world.

The only saving grace is that Dr. Gonne and his crew managed to seal it away. Now, it only exists inside of a hidden shrine, slumbering away until the next poor fool accidentally takes away one of the important pieces keeping the seal intact, and once again summons it for its next rampage...

Using a giant scythe as its weapon, it slices and dices away both physical body, and the very thing that makes up one's self: the soul. Charging at one who has caught its attention, it grabs them by the head, and instantly separates it from the body with one swing of its scythe, both killing its target instantly, and completely and utterly destroying the soul. In the case that it can't get a hold of the one it's hunting, it will simply swing its scythe until it hits its mark, and then proceed as usual.

While the shrine of the Self Eater is perfectly capable of holding it, it's also an appealing spot for those looking for treasure. The blade sitting in the middle of the shrine was made with what was left over from The Machine piece they used to create the Self Eater, and thus integral to keeping the shrine (and seal) intact. If it is displaced, the Self Eater will awaken from its slumber, and break out from the seal holding it. Considering it is a very expensive looking blade, it had been the target of those looking for treasure. As such, the Cyber Bandits- Dr. Gonne and the crew who created the Self Eater- are dedicated to protecting the shrine from those who'd dismantle it in their ignorance.
