LUCRETIA THE MOST GENEROUS

╭───────────────────────────────────╮ "What is one to do with all their great fortune, if not to share it?" ╰───────────────────────────────────╯ Lucretia was known and revered in Soreneith for her domain over riches and fortune. One of the younger of her godly siblings, Lucretia studied firsthand the development of dragonkind specifically, noticing both their compassion and greediness. While one would think a diety of opulence and riches would be greedy herself, Lucretia was instead known for her kindness and generosity. At the height of her influence, Lucretia encouraged and rewarded her followers for giving to charity regularly, and they were known to be great patrons of the arts and sciences. However, with the loss of the Great War, Lucretia’s power, along with that of her godly siblings, was greatly diminished. The once-great influence of Lucretia and her siblings was reduced to just their holiest site, the Minor Pillar. Despite this setback, Lucretia remained steadfast in her dedication to her followers as they regrouped near this holy site, later to be known as Clan Petrarum. Years later, she continues to inspire her followers to give to charity and help those in need, and once again Lucretia’s followers became known throughout the city-clan for their charitable works. Lucretia's followers choose to worship not at the clan vaults or precious gemstone-filled caves, but rather in the bustling market streets of Clan Petrarum, showing their dedication to their deity by giving charity and contributing to the clan's economy. For their efforts, Lucretia bestows good fortune, riches, and financial stability on those who need and deserve it most. |
| Clan Petrarum's Market District is where Lucretia's devotees can most often be found. Her followers perform charity services, contribute to small businesses, and observe the Clan's economy in motion in order to better understand and communicate with their deity. A failing economy represents an unhappy Lucretia, while a bustling and diverse market square is a sign that Lucretia is satisfied with her follower's actions. Some claim to have communicated with Lucretia disguised as a beggar or peasant, giving great riches to whoever shows the disguised deity generosity. While this fable has stayed as just a passing rumor, many do not want to take the risk of slighting the deity of wealth herself... |
