This dragon's name comes from her strong connection to family, Cote is derived from French and German words that refer to a group of connected people. Yate is a mispronunciation of eight, which is (tilted sideways) a symbol for infinity, alluding to the "Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combination" which is part of Vulcan lore.
