| xx | As a hatchling, Effloresence was very spoiled and wanted for very little. His family lived in a young, peaceful forest, bountiful in flora and fauna. From a young age, the small Pearlcatcher was entranced by blooms and flowering plants, and could always be found frolicking in the fields. Thanks to his hours spent in the meadows, he realized that plants could ‘breed’. He earned his name upon reaching adulthood by taking over care of the family’s beehives and proving plants and flowers could breed to create new types. |
| xx | His early adulthood was spent learning the processes of pollination and cross-pollination, and under his careful eye the family’s meadow was bursting at the seams with new and unseen varieties of flowers. Effloresence began to spread their seeds to nearby meadows as well, and slowly began to travel the nearby areas in search of new flowers to add to his collection. Before long, he was traveling further and further, and he ascended to godhood after planting millions of flower seeds and discovering nearly 10,000 varieties of flowers through his travels and cross-pollination efforts. |

Using his newfound powers as a god, Effloresence journeyed to the furthest corners of the world to begin a written record of all the different plant species, especially focusing on the flowering ones. He blessed the areas he traveled through to have bountiful bloom harvests, especially favoring his family’s old lands. Though his close family has long since passed, Efflorescence still visited often before the Great Rescinding was ordered, and his first meadow still blooms with the collections of his efforts. |
