Personality
Winterspine is a caring soul, always happy to look out for others and provide them with any help he can give. He enjoys spending time with various Clans, and takes time to contemplate how he can help them grow, both during his stay and after he moves on. His occupation leaves him lonely most nights, but he tries not to let it get to him too much.
Life as a Tree Sage
────────────────────────❦────────────────────────Winterspine is a sage for tree spirits. He regularly moves into the forests to commune with them and return weeks later with their knowledge and wisdom. He deals a lot with herbs and other things and works on the side as a healer, using medicine from nature. Journeys
On one of his journey, Winterspine wandered a little too far and found himself in the a patch of forest lying along the edges of Sornieth. Winterspine is unfamiliar with communing with the wetland trees. After all, mangroves are not commonly seen around Sornieth. The trees here are rather talkative despite being in the wetlands rumored to be rather reclusive.

The trees and mangroves were well taken care of by a warden named Eden. “Eden has been taking care of us ever since he first landed his tiny claw in the wetlands.” “He was just a wee little hatchling. Look how fast he has grown and now he’s taking such good care of us!” exclaimed several red mangrove trees. “It’s a shame he can’t hear us. I think he would be embarrassed at how much we talk about him as a hatchling and all the silly little things he has done.” Winterspine chuckled to himself and figured that maybe he shouldn’t bring that up should he meet Eden.
During his stay in the Snowcladden Grasslands he was taken under Stagbreaker's wing and ... mostly under protest, dragged into the coliseum. "You're too puny to be walking around all by yourself. I know what will help with that" were the last thing he heard before he felt a strong jaw pick him up by his scruff with firm intent and surprising gentleness. After a short try of trying to free himself, he gave in with a sigh, being carried into (from his standpoint) his sure demise.

The next morning he woke up with a splitting headache and the sounds of Stagbreaker's mate Monarch berating the slightly embarrassed looking Gaoler for endangering an honoured guest and that he as a Snowcladden King should know better. After seeing the sizeable Stagbreaker berated by his even taller mate he felt that only dealing with an headache and not the fury of the Queen wasn't so bad after all.
While staying with Mochiko's Grove, Winterspine learned to always appreciate life, because you never know when it may end. He met Kiara and had 3 kids.

After the previous clan Winterspine was staying with was ambushed by the Plague Flight, he found himself welcomed by the Valley Harvesters . The group of soft spoken dragons make it their life's work to serve the Gladekeeper however they can. Elm, the group's leader helped Winterspine find a comfortable hollow to set up camp and observe how the harvesters work towards dominance. He even found a brief lover in Cerys, and they had two hatchlings that went on to serve the Gladekeeper. He left the Valley Harvesters feeling refreshed and inspired by the Nature Flight!

Ever the wanderer, Winterspine traveled on. Among the dense foliage of the Behemoth he roamed, communing with the flora and fauna. It was here he crossed paths with a distraught young obelisk girl, Zelena. Cupped in her claws, she held a sick paunchy percher.Zelena's worried eyes met the sage's. "hey Mister- do you know anything about healing? I think this percher is ill." As it so happened, the sage knew a good bit about healing. Using his wealth of herb lore, he was able to concoct a remedy that would heal the little bird. With gratitude and joy, Zelena led the sage home to her clan at Caprikin's drey. These dragons welcomed Winterspine in as one of their own, and he stayed with this clan for quite some time. Winterspine thought back to the Valley Harvesters- and he remembered their hard work and devotion to the gladekeeper. When the Nature Flight's need for funds arose, he ran a successful bake sale.
────────────────────────❦────────────────────────The sage also found himself spending a lot of time with the drey's fighters. He accompanied Zelena to the mire, where the obelisk trains the clan's young. Winterspine also spent time with Kelpie and Stuha, joining the undertide pair in the kelp beds. Watching these fighters risk and receive injury to serve the nature flight, the sage grew contemplative. He remembered back to his time in the Snowcladden Grasslands- and knew he was not inclined to be a fighter in the colosseum... After one particularly grueling outing to the kelpbeds, he, Kelpie, and Stuha nursed their wounds at the clan's lodge in the wetlands. A pair of imperials stopped by on their way home to the drey and it was here Winterspine met and befriended Milovany and Milacek. "There are ways other than tooth and claw..." Milovany murmured enigmatically as he conjured up a scintillating green mist to heal the kelp bed adventurers. The imperial team took Winterspine with them into the Golem Workshop and the Forbidden Portal. In these outings Winterspine learned the art of being a fighter's mage. The sage now had his own way to stand tall beside any fighter. He found love and companionship with Sapling, Zelena's mother. Together, Winterspine and Sapling nested, and had 3 sons, but the trees call, and the sage wanders on... Inventory Hoarding Items
