Elm is the modest, quiet leader of the valley. He leads by example, working with the others in the fields and organizing the deliveries to the nature flight. Elm's natural affinity for wildlife means the clan can make the best use of the land without harming the creatures that inhabit the area. Indeed, the creatures seem to bond quite well with Elm and the others, making the clan feel even larger.
