Tucked away in a small part of the Worldedge Wetlands, just beyond the Behemoth, lies a clan of Goalors. It is home to those who would follow the Stagbreaker and his mate, Monarch.

Several years prior, Stagbreaker, his mate, a few of their close friends and loved ones were traveling in search of the shade, as per their responsibilities as Seeker Clan members. Stagbreaker took great pride in his job but felt strongly that something was missing. But he could never place what it was or could be. Monarch, on the other hand, knew a bit more than her mate. She could tell that Stagbreaker was looking for something more while also less. Something more meaningful but less like the weight of the world on his shoulder.

Void, one of their friends and Stagbreakers unofficial right hand, had come back with a report of Shade on the north side of the Behemoth, just at the edge of the Worldedge Wetlands. The group moved in to investigate and when Stagbraker saw the ocean horizon, he froze. Void had thought something was wrong, his fur on edge, but Monarch knew better. She smiled wryly and softly approached her mate. No words were needed. Stagbreaker had found it. Something worth protecting.

They were the first clan to make their roots in this place, so to speak. They deserted their posts and laid low in this place, occasionally leaving to patrol the area for Shade. Void hadn’t been too keen on staying, much like many of the others, but through loyalty to Stagbreaker, they stayed.

It wasn’t until they experienced their first snow fall, the white blanketing the bamboo forests, that the rest of the clan understood. This place was home. It always has been. It just took them a while to get there.

I’m so glad you like it! She was such a delight to draw :D Speaking of ~~hoarding~~- I mean collecting your lair is absolutely beautiful! Wheat especially is gorgeous!
