Lix

Lix is a forceful and focused Mirror Dragon.



Home and History

Having made an agreement with Sorvid to manage the defense the lower ocean beaches and Serpent Forest, Lix is often found roaming the deep ocean of Osage Trench. His dark green and brown scales allow him to blend in with the algae of the lower ocean, though when conflict arises, he would rather announce his presence then be caught using "cheap" tricks.


Personality and Hobbies

Well known for his gruff and even aggressive demeanor, Lix spends most of his time picking fights with other dragons. Despite his aggressive posturing, Lix finds himself making bonds mostly with dragons of other kinds, which is an oddity for his species. Even more unusual, he often finds himself teaching and occasionally mentoring other dragons. Lix is talented in a variety of skills and arts, from the typical hunting and fighting, to the more unusual singing and sculpting.


Familiar and Social Bonds


Rat: Lix made an odd ally in an unusually aggressive Cursed Bat. The bat was well known for causing trouble in one of the seaside caves Lix carved out. When sent to deal with the creature, Lix found himself respecting its fighting spirit. Naming the little rascal Rat, Lix dug out a new cave for the creature to occupy instead. A colony of bats grew in this cave with Rat acting as its leader. Now whenever Lix finds himself above the sea, he has an army of bats watching over him and aiding him in battle.


Algiy: Lix's closest friend is a Pearlcatcher named Algiy. With both dragons being descendants of Vatali, they share a warrior spirt and will often train together. Aside from acting as a sparring partner, Algiy will often help Lix sculpt and decorate the dens he carves out for himself and other dragons.


Kollu: Having encountered Kollu during one of his rare visits to Opal Cliffside, Lix found himself greatly enjoying her company, and the dragons agreed to meet again the following year. The two dragons continue to meet up at Opal Cliffside every few years and have grown to be good friends despite rarely seeing each other face to face. The dragons have begun to send the occasional message to each other in between visits.


Rekal: Rekal is one of Lix's children, the mother being Kollu. Lix couldn't stay raising her for more than two months before needing to return to his home. Knowing he wouldn't be able to properly care for her and her siblings. He left them with the merchants in Opal Cliffside, checking in every year to ensure they were doing well. As Rekal grew older and started acting as a merchant, Lix would occasionally stop by allowing her to ask him questions about himself, that he would answer the best he could.


Hoque: Despite not seeing Hoque that often, Lix greatly cares for his son. Lix found that Hoque admires him despite Lix not having been able to raise him. Whenever Lix is able to stop by he will patiently listen to his son tell him about his work, showing him that he is proud.


Spox: Spox is Lix's daughter. Spox wasn't aware of how often Lix checked on her and her siblings when they were younger, leading to them currently having a odd relationship. Lix knows Spox likes his attention but is also felt betrayed that he had left her, as such he tries to listen and give her praise when he can to boost her confidence.
