The actual "fisher" part of his and his husband's, Dirge, fishmonger business, Twister is an excellent swimmer, diver, and fisher, in part provided by his inherent nature as an undertide, in part because he simply has had experience for many years. While he's always happy to help out on the "selling" part of their business, Twister's real job is getting the fish to sell. His personal favorites are mussels, which he cracks open with his powerful jaw (or, if he's feeling particularly cheeky, lets Dirge feed them to him).

Despite being plague-born, Twister was raised in the Sea of a Thousand Currents for the most part. He may not be a water dragon, but he sure acts like one, preferring to spend his time in the water. Of course, this is a little hard when his husband is so vehemently afraid of water, but they both make an effort to meet each other in the middle. He really doesn't mind- he just loves Dirge too much as a person, and he'd say meeting the ridgeback was one of the best things that ever happened to him. Sure, it was quite funny the first time, seeing a trembling ridgeback trying to navigate Flotsam Town without going into the water, but once they got talking, Twister found himself hanging onto Dirge's every word, enchanted by his enthousiastic personality. Needless to say, the two hit it off well, kept meeting up again and again... and the rest is history.

Twister is proud of his fishing abilities, and always happy to hear that costumers are satisfied with his and Dirge's service. He really does his best to not damage the fish when he catches them, and he'd like to think he's really good at it too. While using his jaws is obviously faster, he has developed a technique with his long, strong tail to catapult the fish out of the water, and onto Dirge's boat.

When he's not working, Twister enjoys either swimming in one of the ponds in the garden area of the Purring Winds, sunbathing on a nice rock, or simply hanging out with his husband. It's a simple, but satisfying life with hard work that pays well. Exactly as he likes it.
