Biography

Just an usual, calm evening in the Philippe's library.
Philippe, Cherbourg and Starlight Glimmer - in her Equestrian form - were discussing the books that recently arrived in the library.

Suddenly, some Spiral male dragon in brown, old-school suit and top hat stormed in. He looked as if he was running away from something... or somedragon.

"What happened, Joel?" Philippe asked the Spiral.

"There... *pant*... there's something happening... *pant*... in my museum! *pant* So... the old... well at least I think it's old... and weathered statue of a Skydancer that I found near my museum... *pant*... is gone! And I swear, I feel watched since then!"

All eyes landed on Starlight Glimmer. She nervously sipped from her cocoa mug. Philippe patted her on the back.

"No worries, Glimmy, we haven't even think it may have been your fault or something!" He paused and cleared his throat "But... you know, maybe you'd check what's going on? I would do it... but I have a lot to do here..."

Philippe left the table and went to his desk. Starlight looked at Cherbourg.

"I'm sorry, Starlight, I... just recalled I have to go to Bouquet, she wanted some help with the new bookshelf"
And Cherbourg left the library. Starlight rolled her eyes and sighed.

"Okay so... Starlight Glimmer, right? Looks like only you left here so... your absolutely amazing mission is to spend the night in my museum and find out what's happening!"

Joel went out of the library and Starlight unwillingly followed him. They went to a small museum. At least Starlight thought it is small... until she went inside. She was sure this place would not have enough space for even one Imperial dragon, while there was actually space in which a few of them could for sure freely run and fly.

"Now I'm going to take a nap, wake me up if there's something important ha..." Joel yawned and dropped like a rock by the door. He looked like a thick rolled-up rope. A quietly snoring thick rolled-up rope.

Starlight quietly muttered "Ah great...", rolled her eyes and carefully went downstairs. There was weirdly quiet, except for tapping of Starlight's hooves when she was walking around. Pale moonlight was lighting the room, giving it a slight blue tint.

After a good while of looking at various numerous statues, old scrolls and items from the pre-dragon times she saw an empty pedestal. She also noticed a small piece of paper near it.

Don't turn your back. Don't look away. Don't blink.

These were the words on the piece of paper. What it could mean? Starlight was about to go look around more but she saw a quite big statue of a Skydancer right in front of her. It had its face covered with paws, as if it was crying. In panic, Starlight teleported herself a few meters away. That was for sure the lost statue but how and when it appeared right behind her? She could've sworn that it wasn't here when she came to look at the pedestal. And she could've sworn it was here, a few meters away from her just a while ago... but it wasn't here.

What's going on?

Starlight assured herself she's just seeing weird things because maybe she's just tired. She carefully trotted to the part of the museum where the old books were, but halfway she bumped onto something... The statue! And it did look different, instead of looking like crying, it looked like... it was about to attack! It looked as if it wanted to catch her!

Starlight retreated slowly, all the time looking at the statue with great fear. In her head there was nothing but fear and these three sentences she saw on that piece of paper repeated all over and over again.

Don't turn your back. Don't look away. Don't blink.

Yup, that's a fandragon of a Weeping Angel, the statue-like creature from Doctor Who series.
