Biography

Born in a protected cave in the deep, dark depths of the Lake of Memories, Daman often heard of the day he hatched from his egg. His siblings had hatched one by one from their eggs until only he remained, slumbering on and on in his egg. Golden runes covered the thick protective shell, moving along the smooth surface and casting gentle light on the rough walls of the deep-sea cave. Protective spirits that made their home in the cave system often huddled in the room, the valiant guardians drawn to the new life to be protected. Then one day, movement from within rattled the egg and small cracks began to form until a tiny dragon emerged. As tiny wings the color of fire shook off the last bits of eggshells, the surrounding dragons drawn to the spectacle watched in awe. The hatchling looked unlike any of them, but none of the faces looked taken aback. The influence of memories and the guardian spirits were significant in this place and considering who his father was, it was truly no surprise to anyone that it could have altered the hatchling's form. Daman's fiery wings served as a reminder of the warm sunset on the surface, stirring spirits from their slumber and waking timeless minds basking in long lost memories. The formless often gather around him, only visible by the fluorescent light drifting through the dark, cold water. And yet, the inhabitants of the depths feel warmth coursing through their body at the sight of those wings.
