It was Thanatos who found her. Death itself came to her side, every breath parting as if it were last, rushing to catch up to the others, shallow and dry. What could have a hatchling done to save its lair in the face of a feral horde? A single swipe nigh crushed the life out of her.
And now she was lifted, limp, and gently laid in the soft fur between the terrifying maws.
"Cling, little Fae. We're going home."

She was met by many faces, some in her state, some worse or better off. Lost faces marked by the ghostly marks - each welcoming behind the grim facade. The ones brushed by Death and taken under Her wing. Those who touched the deepest pits of suffering and kicked up the dirt in revolt. The Stygian Troupe with Thanatos at the throne.

The nameless Fae chose to go only by the Reaper, sworn to stay by Her side and act as Her will. The final visage to aggressors, and a soft embrace for the lost. The guardian to the gates of their darkened Eden.
