Aquarian

One of the Founder's hatchlings and an honorary Ambassador, Aquarian frequently makes trips up out of the Crystalcrag to the greater region of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, both to carry their own clan news outside of their bubble and, more importantly, learn more about the Water flight's own culture beyond the oddity that is the Crystalcrag.

Aquarian was born with a gift. While his siblings talked big of exploration or delved into the cavern's oddities, he slept with visions, stirred with the waves, and felt his heart tug for something outside of the Crags themselves.
While his kindred sought inwards, deeper into the cavern, he knew his place was Outside, in the world his parents had came from.
His parents quickly caught on to their child's acclimatization to the Water, and did their best to teach him what they knew themselves, but they both knew it wouldn't be enough to just have him learn from what little they knew.
That was, of course, when luck showed an ambassador of the flight coming down on their own volition, and a possibility to train the young dragon with someone who knew substantially more. Delacine wasn't forced to do it, but found that teaching the youngling was a nice reprieve from the continual shock and confoundment that the Crystalcrags offered, and it was through these lessons that Aquarian decided that, once he was old enough, he would take a trek up to the upper reaches of the clan to learn more about the Water flight as a whole.
And so he did, and so he does; and although he stops back in every once in a while, he frequently treks about the Water flight, and brings tales back for his siblings more engrossed in the Crystalcrags.

• Aquarian was mostly a loner as a child, not bonding to his siblings nearly as much due to his differed investments.
• Though he shares a kinship with his other magically-inclined sibling, their breeds of magic differ so vastly that there's a mild schism anyways.
• Stelaine has made a point to become friendlier with him, both learning more about the surface world and sometimes even accompanying him! He finds the company quite nice when she does, though he knows at some point she'll stretch her legs and go even farther than where he treks.
• Though his mentor, Delacine, will sometimes accompany him to show him around places, he's moved in to travelling on his own. She's too invested down there, and he's too invested up here.
• Sorrel is a Maren who's become slightly fascinated by the odd Fae. Though the Crystalcrag is interesting, she's far more interested in his trips along the surface, both to aid in her own hunt and to learn more about the dragon's intentions.
