__Harpa is the Rosethorn Ruins' newest Professor, and among the youngest of the College's lecturers. When the Astrolab crash-landed in the Starfall Isles, Harpa was among the first to emerge and was eager to explore a very different world to the one his ancestors left behind. After tearing through a poor librarian's entire collection in the Astrodome he ran into Pride, the resident expert in Arcane magic in the Rosethorn Ruins. After hearing that the head of Astronomy, Helios, was looking for others to assist him in his studies, he instantly rushed to the College to put in an application.

__Even though his interview was disastrous (he knocked over an rare and very expensive piece of alchemy equipment and tried to eat Headmaster Sigma's doctoral thesis, among other shenanigans) it swiftly became clear that Harpa's knowledge of the stars was unrivaled. A whole life spent in orbit meant Harpa knew the answers to questions Helios could not even begin to solve and he absolutely had to be hired; much to the chagrin of Sigma, who was still piecing his chewed-on life's work back together. For the past few months, he has been happily settling into the College, making his home in one of the loftier towers of the ruins so his colossal telescope can get a good view of the night sky. He has managed to avoid getting into too much trouble... but poor Mira has had to chase him from the library, mouth still full of paper, many times.

_PERSONALITY:

__Harpa is a chirpy, exciteable young Aether and full of passion for seemingly everything in life. He injects his boundless energy into all his activities; from documenting constellations and studying astral events to trying to cook his dinner (his best recipe is carrot soup... spiced with some grated paper from a light novel.) and befriend his fellow professors. He's determined to get everything right, even if that does mean bungling things. He tries not to let his many disasters get him down... even if his elegant and perfectionistic co-workers make him feel like he isn't quite good enough.

__Despite his full-on personality, he is well-liked by his clanmates, who enjoy his optimism in the occasionally dreary and pessimistic college. He is surprisingly organized when it comes to his work, and will leave many notes about his newest discoveries, or where he put the shattered remains of a flask he filled with a little too much acid. Outside of his studies, Harpa's favorite pastime is kite flying. He was hatched over the Windswept Plateau, and although he hasn't had a chance to visit the wind flight, he enjoys constructing elaborate designs which he controls in the air using his magic. His other favorite thing is stickers. He will buy stickers from anywhere and anyone and decorate his notes, room, other people's rooms, and himself with them. Whether he sticks them on himself out of intention or by accident is anyone's guess.

_RELATIONSHIPS:

_Name: Helios

___Head of the Astronomy school of the College and is Harpa's boss. Despite his aloof, silent personality he is very patient with Harpa, and wants to encourage his studies of astronomy to go further than ever before... even if a few books have to be sacrificed in the process.

_Name: Quill

___Quill is Sigma's apprentice and a student in the experimental field of soul study. While she is much more relaxed than Harpa, she shares his passion for research and the pair have become very good friends.

_Name: Acifi

___Acifi is Quill's friend... which means she has become Harpa's friend too. At first, she found him incredibly annoying... but has begun to warm up to his antics a little.

_Name: Mira

___Harpa is Mira's worst enemy. Every day, she finds her books under threat from his seemingly unending hunger for paper. No matter what she tries, he always manages to get back in somehow. She is at her wit's end.
